Quad War 2019 - Celebrating 24 years of amazingly good times!

Within the borders of the fair Kingdom of Avacal there are whispers of an epic battle one and twenty years in the making. Those whispers are now roaring as we approach the fair weather season of our realm. The Shire of Bordergate would like to invite one and all to participate in the quintessential medieval event Quad War. Join in this historic event with some of the greatest battles ever fought. Many activities await to tantalize your senses; Heavy and Light war scenarios, Heavy and Light tournaments, Archery and Throwing Weapons games, Bardic activities, TUA classes, Arts and Sciences, Youth and Family activities, Merchant’s Row and more.

Adult - $30

Adult Member Discount - $25

Youth & Children (under 17 years) - Free

Merchant Registration - no additional fees 


Dates & Times:

Gates Open - 10:00am Friday August 2, 2019

Event Starts - 6:00pm Friday August 2, 2019

Event Ends - 12:00pm Monday August, 5, 2019

TUA Outdoor Artisans Starts Tuesday August 6, 2019 and runs until Sergeants Trials on Friday August 9, 2019. As of now, there are no additional fees for artisan days. This may change next year.

From the West - Wainright, Alberta: Travel East on Highway 14 AB, this becomes Highway 40 SK at the border. Proceed 8km past the border and turn North (left) on Artlan Road (this is opposite of Suffern Lake turn off #680). Travel 4.6km north and turn West (left) on to field road.

From the East - Battleford, Saskatchewan: Travel West on Highway 40 SK to Marsden, SK. Continue 5km past Marsden and turn North (right) on Artlan Road (this is opposite of Suffern Lake turn off #680). Travel 4.6km north and turn West (left) on to field road.
